Calling all fans of The Cab! On April 29, 2012, it will be the four year anniversary of the drop of Whisper War and the second annual The Cab Day! Last year we did some amazing things for our favorite band. They have overcome so much in the past year, getting dropped from their label and releasing their sophomore album, Symphony Soldier, independently. This is a day to celebrate them. Ready to go to arms, symphony soldiers?

Apparently Singer thanked the fans who worked on The Cab Day 2011 onstage last night, and I’ve been getting a lot of thank yous. Some of that credit also goes to

  • Sophie, who inspired me to do it when she posted the information about the fan movement for Lupe Fiasco
  • Lex and Mandi, who have helped in so many different ways
  • Patty, because her skills are unparalleled by any other
  • Katelyn, whose dedication to the cause was tremendous
  • Monique, she’s freaking fabulous and put together all your letters

And anyone else who helped me throughout the day or even just participated, The Cab Day 2011 would have just been April 29th without all of you. <3
